Our story

Little Strides was created by brothers Ben and Damian Snee.

They grew up in a close-knit family, two of four brothers, in a home filled with imagination and play. Play became their way of learning about the world, fostering curiosity, confidence, and resilience.

As adults and fathers themselves, Ben and Damian realised the importance of these early experiences in shaping their identities and values. They wanted to offer other children the same nurturing environment that had been so crucial to their own development. This inspired them to start Little Strides, a nursery based on the principles of learning through play.

Their nursery was designed as a space where children could explore freely, build confidence, and satisfy their natural curiosity. They filled it with open-ended toys, natural materials, and opportunities for outdoor play, believing that the best start in life comes from allowing children to learn at their own pace. Today, Ben and Damian take pride in knowing they are giving children the chance to grow into confident, curious individuals, just as they did in their own childhood.
